Software: Microsoft PowerPoint

Times of economic crisis often see Learning and Development budgets slashed. One of the key skills of L&D professionals is to continue finding ways to create engaging learning content using whatever resources are available.

Here, I challenged myself to create a short animated explainer video using only Microsoft PowerPoint, but that still matched the quality of content produced with higher-end software such as Adobe After Effects.

There was a trade-off; the absence of a timeline for managing assets meant that planning and adjusting the timing of events took longer that it would in the high-end software, but the end results are effective nevertheless.
